Radiant Skin Chua Ka Esthetician’s Class: The Radiant Skin Chua Ka Estheticians Class covers the face, neck, décolleté and arms.  Though it is primarily recommended for estheticians, it is also suitable for massage therapists who wish to get a meaningful sampling of the work. 

Radiant Skin Chua Ka, Full-Body Classes 1, 2 & 3 

Class 1 provides the newcomer to skin rolling with an overview of the art and how to apply it to every part of the body.  We also begin to explore the variety of textures and forms of resistance that one is bound to encounter in the skin, and present basic strategies to best apply this new and unfamiliar medium in a way that your client can comfortably receive it. 

Class 2 delves further into the range of textures under the skin and covers a broader variety of technique, still addressing mainly the physical & esthetic aspects of the work.  A wide range of therapeutic possibilities is explored.  More emphasis is given to defining the edge between delivering the best results and assuring your client's comfort.

Class 3 explores skin rolling as a bridge between physical bodywork and emotional clearing/ energy work.  Much time is devoted to correlations between specific physical blockages and their corresponding emotional causes.

For all 3 levels, though all bodyworkers are welcome, for best results we strongly recommend that students in these classes should be experienced therapists, and have already developed some reasonable degree of sensitivity. 

Radiant Skin Chua Ka Tune-Up Clinics:

Spa directors who have already brought the Radiant Skin Chua Ka Full Body Classes to their spa, and who recognize the varied benefits and opportunities that this training presents, should  follow up with a Tune-Up Clinic within a few months, or as soon as it's practical.  Because skin rolling is a completely unfamiliar medium for most therapists, and requires development of unique sensitivities, further detailed training is highly recommended.  Learning skin rolling is almost like learning another language, compared to the study of other more familiar bodywork modalities.   Unanticipated questions are bound to arise after your staff has put this new technique into practice.   Clinics can be of varying length, depending on the level of expertise to which you wish your massage staff to aspire.

For spa directors who want to see their staff develop the most masterful skills in this art, we recommend Radiant Skin Chua Ka In-Depth Classes.  Skin rolling, like other forms of bodywork, will yield results according to whatever level to which you develop your skill.  These classes are available with Gerald Harvey, the skin rolling master who has developed this unique and outstanding style over the past 35 years.  Students who have completed the Full Body Classes already will benefit the most from this class.
