About the teachers:

 

Niles Szwed has maintained a private practice in deep-tissue bodywork for 27 years.  He has also worked in spas for 10 years, 8 of which were at the Claremont Hotel & Spa in Berkeley, California.  His teaching background includes 9 years at the World School of Massage & Advanced Healing Arts, San Francisco, California.  He taught his pilot class in Techtuitive Bodywork at Ladera Resort, St. Lucia in September, 2006.  He is one of the skin rolling apprentices designated by Gerald Harvey to teach Radiant Skin Chua Ka. 

His Techtuitive Bodywork is an amalgam of Western esthetics and Eastern insights into body mechanics and energy dynamics.  Numerous bodyworkers and other healers, and serious bodywork connaisseurs have comprised his clientelle over the years.

His bodywork practice, dba Intensive Massage, "Deep Tissue Bodywork with Finesse!", is based in Marin County, California.  Sessions by appointment at:  Organic Frequencies, Suite B-136 Creekside Center, 7 Mt. Lassen Dr, San Rafael CA.  Also available in Petaluma & throughout the Bay Area.

Laura Scott has been in private practice as a bodyworker for 17 years.  Her modalities include Swedish, deep-tissue, lymphatic, pregnancy massage and emotional release through body counseling.  She has practiced aromatherapy for over 20 years, and formulates a wide array of aromatherapy and shea butter products for bath, body and beauty.  She has taught couples massage for 8 years.  Also, she has practiced skin rolling for 5 years, and is now one of the skin rolling apprentices designated by Gerald Harvey to teach Radiant Skin Therapy.

Gerald Harvey is the founder and pioneer of Radiant Skin Therapy.  He has developed this art over the past 35+ years, practicing and teaching in London, Sydney, Vancouver and throughout the US.  He has done over 40,000 individual sessions, including clients with lupus, MS, fibromyalgia and burns, in addition to clients who have come to him for general health & beauty benefits.  In addition to his vast experience, he brings a deep intuitive clarity to his practice and teaching which is rarely equaled in the bodywork field.  An opportunity to train with this master of the art, or to experience his work, should not be missed.
